Everyday, we are hearing about state budgets being in crisis and how there will be massive layoffs-even in school districts. In this day and age, where our kids are falling behind other countries in terms of graduation rates and test scores, we cannot afford any cuts in education. Unfortunately, the way things are headed, there will likely be more cuts in spending for education.
We need successful entrepreneurs like Frank Hanna III to put their heads together and lead the way to education reform. It is going to take the drive and innovation from folks like Frank Hanna III to deliver the changes our educational system needs. It is unfair to place all of the responsibility on our government. We must all do our part in ensuring that our kids get a quality education. It takes a village to raise a child, not just a part of the village, but the entire village--government, businesses, parents, and all. We should all learn from people like Frank Hanna III, in that education is all of our responsibility, and not just the responsibility of our government.
